I’m thrilled to share some exciting news—after months of training and dedication, I am now officially a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) through ALPP! This means I can provide families with professional, compassionate support for all their infant feeding needs—whether you’re breastfeeding, chestfeeding, pumping, combination feeding, or formula feeding.
Whether you are in the Denver metro area and prefer in-person help or live elsewhere and need virtual lactation counseling, I’m here to guide you through every step of your feeding journey.
What Does a Certified Lactation Counselor Do?
A Certified Lactation Counselor is trained to:
Help parents understand the natural process of lactation.
Offer guidance on latch, positioning, and feeding comfort.
Support families with common challenges like nipple pain, engorgement, low milk supply, or slow weight gain.
Create realistic, personalized feeding plans.
My approach is nonjudgmental and family-centered—you’ll always be supported in making the choices that are best for your baby and your lifestyle.
For Postpartum Care Doula Clients: Lactation Support Built In
If you’re already working with me as your postpartum care doula, lactation counseling is a natural part of our time together.
Because I’m in your home, I can:
Observe feedings in real time.
Offer hands-on help with latch and positioning.
Troubleshoot challenges as they come up.
Provide emotional reassurance during those middle-of-the-night feedings.
You won’t need to book a separate appointment or wait for support—we’ll address your feeding concerns right away.
Standalone Lactation Counseling Services
For families who aren’t using my doula services, I offer lactation counseling as a separate service—available in person in Denver, CO or virtually anywhere in the U.S.
What a session includes:
One-on-one support (60 minutes) focused entirely on your feeding needs.
A customized plan to help you meet your goals.
Observation and feedback on feeding techniques.
Education on pumping, milk storage, and feeding schedules.
Strategies for overcoming feeding challenges.
Whether you’re preparing before birth, navigating a rough start, or simply wanting reassurance that your baby is feeding well, I can help you feel confident and supported.
Why Choose My Lactation Counseling Services?
The early days with a newborn can be overwhelming, and feeding struggles can add extra stress. By offering professional lactation support, I aim to give you:
Peace of mind.
Practical, realistic solutions.
Gentle, evidence-based guidance.
Encouragement every step of the way.
If you’re looking for a Denver lactation consultant or virtual lactation counseling that meets you where you are—both literally and emotionally—I’d be honored to support your family.
